At their Lünen showrooms, light11.de., the specialists in designer lighting for sophisticated homes, offer owners and architects an experienced and extensive lighting design service in addition to presenting a wide range of top-range designer lamps and lighting. light11 planned the complete lighting of the indoor and outdoor areas for the villa of a private owner in Herdecke. The first step in the design work was to ascertain the owner's individual requirements. Particularly high demands were placed on the light quality, with glare avoidance, evenness of illumination of pictures and walls free of distracting light parabolas, and excellent colour definition at the forefront. At the same time, energy-efficient long-lasting light sources were demanded. The choice thus fell on the new energy-saving 12 V 35 W halogen bulbs; with optimal colour rendering, they give high colour definition combined with savings of 40 to 50% over comparable incandescent bulbs. Another advantage of energy-saving 12 V halogen bulbs is their very long service life of 4000 hours.
