DesignThe Flos Gatto is a modern design classic with a timeless charm. The small table lamp was designed by Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni in 1960. It stands out for a white, semi-transparent shade made of an innovative plastic material. This material, which is also called Cocoon, is directly sprayed onto the metal frame of the table lamp from Flos. This way, a tight texture is created that softly diffuses the light emitted. The shape of the Gatto slightly reminds us of a small hot-air balloon that is about to take off. Thanks to this dynamics, the table lamp interestingly stands out from the rigid structures. However, the Flos Gatto also blends with modern living environments in a refined manner.
